Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the NextRole mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service
NextRole is a career development application that provides tools for creating resumes, cover letters, tracking job applications, and AI-powered career assistance. Our services include:
- Resume creation and customization
- Cover letter generation and templates
- Job application tracking
- AI-powered content generation
- PDF export functionality
- Career insights and recommendations
Subscription Terms
Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Pro Plan: $9.99/month - Auto-renewable subscription
Pro+ Plan: $19.99/month - Auto-renewable subscription
Subscription Features:
- Pro Plan: Unlimited resumes, cover letters, job entries, advanced templates, AI generation (50/month), PDF export, priority support
- Pro+ Plan: Everything in Pro plus unlimited AI generation, LinkedIn profile review, interview coaching, resume ATS optimization, career analytics, 24/7 support
Auto-Renewal Terms:
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and turn off auto-renewal in your Account Settings at any time after purchase
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store settings:
- Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Find NextRole in your subscriptions
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
- Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period
Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Apple may provide refunds in certain circumstances according to their refund policy.
User Accounts
Account Creation
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your account information
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use the App to create harmful or malicious content
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App to spam or harass others
Intellectual Property
Our Rights
The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, and software, are owned by NextRole and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create using the App (resumes, cover letters, etc.). You grant us a limited license to use your content to provide and improve our services.
AI-Generated Content
Content generated by our AI features is provided for your use but may be subject to usage limitations and quality disclaimers.
Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using the App, you consent to:
- The collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy
- The processing of your data for AI-powered features
- Receiving communications about your account and our services
Disclaimers and Limitations
Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
AI Content Disclaimer
AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before using it for professional purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextRole shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App will cease immediately
- We may delete your account and associated data
- Any provisions of these Terms that survive termination will remain in effect
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms in the App
- Sending you an email notification
- Displaying a notice when you next open the App
Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NextRole operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
